Empati التقمص العاطفي yapmak lazım .

You shouldn’t ask us, u shout ask the 3m Syrian in Turkey
-
I've already did and the majority think they shouldn't use it. But nationalism is difficult for me to understand as I don't really think of any symbol as untouchable.
-
I do live in a Syrian community in Istanbul, and almost all of them they want this wave to pass peacefully without doing anything that might trigger more pressure on Syrian, of course that is not everyone opinion

That’s powerful. And people who want to hurt the refugees will do it regardless of what a flag looks like - if not this, they’ll find another reason to be further oppressive.
-
I think you don't know how the Turkish people feel about their national symbols. A country that tries to provide shelters for more than 3.6 million Syrians won't welcome such a thing. And yes, in Turkey the Turkish flag is untouchable for everyone including the Syrians.
-
I think you misunderstood me - I said it doesn’t matter what symbol is used for the protest, ultimately those who want to hurt the refugees will continue to do so. Additionally, its great that there’s shelter - maybe dignity, respect and humanity should be next.

It’s misleading. There’s no greater friend to Syrian refugees than Turkey.
-
Unfortunately the Turkish people are humans doing what humans do in a time of economic depression, turning on the outsiders and blaming them irrationally and hatefully.
-
don't bite the hand that feeds you

This is not the best form of nutrition... https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/world/-they-want-to-kill-you---anger-at-syrians-erupts-in-istanbul-11704972 … But any people behave that way when economic depression bites, it is a nasty part of human nature.
