D'après leurs slogans ( le clan d'Assad ) répètent inlassablement depuis 1970 que la Syrie se nomme " la Syrie d'Assad" !!!. Un petit tour en Syrie et on constate que dans chaque ville, village ,secteur, école,stade,hôpital,mosquée......orné par le nom ou le prénom d'Assad!!!.

I agree with you on the ballistic vests not about some guy living large. Most of their losses are because they go into battle with the barest of protections. And I dont know how how gd their medical attention and evac at the frontline is.

Surely the Russians know that battle gear is important for reducing frontline losses and maintaining battle experienced troops numbers. I don't think equipping 100k soldiers with ballistic vests, boots, night vision sights and sand googles for those in the desert costs that much.
