CLn BodyWash is a new approach to a decades-old remedy
For years, physicians have known that medicated baths can effectively cleanse compromised skin and decrease the spread of infection. However, skin sufferers find these baths unpleasant and impractical. CLn partnered with leading dermatologists to create a sodium hypochlorite wash. It harnesses the most important ingredient of medicated baths in the form of a clinically proven, effective daily cleanser that won’t ruin clothes and is gentle on the skin.
Effective cleansing is the first step in dealing with problem skin
CLn BodyWash is clinically proven to effectively cleanse skin. It is dermatologist-recommended for use before applying creams/ointments for skin prone to:
Eczema
Infection
Folliculitis
Acne
Rash
Redness
Itching
CLn is suitable for all ages, including infants 6 months and older
Virtually anyone prone to rashes, infection, eczema, folliculitis, acne or skin irritation can use CLn. It is simply lathered on wet skin for 1-2 minutes and rinsed off thoroughly in the shower or bath. It can replace a daily shower gel/soap, making it easy to fit into an existing routine.
Gentle cleansing and real results
CLn BodyWash's gentle, non-drying formula can be used daily on problem skin without causing irritation. Although individual results will vary, many users with eczema report seeing a reduction in the appearance of skin redness, dryness and flakiness in as few as 3 uses. With continued use, CLn leaves skin looking smooth, clear, healthy and refreshed.
All of the good, none of the bad
CLn clinically proven*, but never tested on animals. It is free of steroids, antibiotics, parabens, triclosan, and fragrances. It is non-drying, hypoallergenic, non-irritating and was awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.

During acute flares of eczema, the skin may be painful and feel like it is burning. The degree of discomfort varies in each individual. Almost all products that come in contact with the skin may “burn” or “sting” skin when there is a flare of eczema. CLn can be used and, if tolerated, it can be continued. If discomfort is worsened, discontinue with CLn usage and follow your physician’s advice. CLn can be added as a cleanser a few days after the flare subsides for routine skin cleansing.

Should I purchase CLn® BodyWash or CLn® Acne Cleanser for acne?
690
Question by: Sara Booker on Apr 6, 2016 8:44:00 AM
Both products are an option for Acne prone skin. CLn® BodyWash has moisturizing ingredients and is ideal for normal to oily skin and acne over the entire body, including bacne. CLn® Acne Cleanser is an excellent option for oily skin types. Following therapeutic cleansing, CLn® Facial Moisturizer is an excellent option for your skin care regiment as it does not clog pores, is lightweight and has anti-inflammatory properties.

How would I decide whether to purchase CLn® BodyWash or CLn® SportWash?
668
Question by: James Thomas on Feb 2, 2016 10:35:00 AM
CLn® BodyWash is a hypochlorite cleanser for those with compromised skin, such as those prone to eczema, acne, or infection. It is safe to use from head to toe, as well as a spot cleanser and does not have steroids. CLn® SportWash is meant for athletes with a more active lifestyle who need daily and deep cleansing immediately after activity to avoid “gym skin”. Issues such as folliculitis, back acne (bacne) and razor bumps or razor burn, common side effects of working out, are aided by the therapeutic cleansing SportWash can provide. Additionally, we made this a larger 12 oz bottle as an economical option.

How long will CLn® BodyWash last if I am using it daily?
660
Question by: Brian M. on Mar 1, 2016 8:50:00 AM
CLn® BodyWash is a sodium hypochlorite gel cleanser that can be used daily in the shower or as a spot cleanser. If used daily, the 8 oz bottle on average-sized adults should last 4 to 6 weeks and on children 6 to 8 weeks. If used only as a spot cleanser, it will last longer.

Is there a difference between CLn® BodyWash and CLn® Facial Cleanser? I have skin issues in both areas and buying both products seems odd and very costly.
656
Question by: Debra P. Brown on May 2, 2016 3:49:00 PM
Yes, the products are different. CLn® BodyWash can be used on the face and head to toe, and is especially good for those with normal to oily skin. CLn® Facial Cleanser is formulated with glycerin and is specifically designed for the more delicate facial skin. If you have dry skin and want an all over body wash, we suggest CLn® Gentle Shampoo which is available in the larger 8 oz bottle and is formulated with emollients and moisturizers. Following therapeutic cleansing, CLn® Facial Moisturizer is an excellent option for your skin care regiment as it does not clog pores, is lightweight and has anti-inflammatory properties to aid in compromised skin.

I think it's the ingredient cocamide mea in CLn, which I believe is produced from the fatty acids in coconut oil. Are you thinking that people shouldn't be allergic to this if they have an allergy to coconut?
647
Question by: Heather on Jun 8, 2017 10:36:00 PM
Cocamide MEA is an ingredient used in CLn Body Wash. This ingredient is made from the fatty acids in coconut oil. Any person allergic to coconut could also be allergic to it's derivatives including Cocamide MEA. Do not continue to use CLn Body Wash if any redness or any skin reaction occurs and consult with your dermatologist.

Does the 8 oz bottle of CLn® BodyWash have a pump dispenser? If not, how is it dispensed/used?
643
Question by: Benito Bowen on Jun 13, 2016 6:02:00 PM
The 8 oz CLn® BodyWash does not have a pump and is manufactured as a squeeze bottle; however, the 2.5 oz bottle of CLn® BodyWash does have a pump for dispensing product. CLn® BodyWash can be used as an all over therapeutic body wash as well as a spot cleanser for individuals prone to skin conditions including eczema, acne and folliculitis.

CLn products are not damaging to the eyes, however they can cause a stinging sensation like any other cleanser. We recommend using CLn in the shower or bath, and to keep eyes closed if applying to face or hair.

I see that Sodium Laureth Sulfate is in CLn BodyWash. Is that the same thing as SLS, which I try to avoid?
441
Question by: Janet on Jan 15, 2018 9:05:00 AM
No, Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) is very different from SLS, or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is a common foaming agent in many personal care products, but does not fall within CLn Skin Care's standards for skin-friendly ingredients. CLn BodyWash carries the National Eczema Association seal of acceptance based on its skin-friendly ingredients.

Is CLn considered “antibacterial”? Is it a suitable wash for pre-surgical procedure?
149
Question by: Gloria on Dec 8, 2018 9:40:00 AM
Hi Gloria,
Chlorhexidine (CHG) is the pre-surgical antiseptic of choice for most surgeons. We suggest contacting your surgeon for their recommendation. CLn BodyWash, and other CLn cleansers, are good cleansers to use for several days prior to the surgery for general hygiene purposes.

Love it!
So happy my dermatologist suggested this product for me. My skin is extremely sensitive and a lot of fragrance free and sensitive skin products still don’t work for me but this does! This product creates a great later and throughly cleanses my skin without any of the skin irritation.
