    Security forces knew ISIS operatives were present in the town but Turkish police did nothing to ensure the group’s safety. The instigators of the massacre that killed 33 young men&women have not been brought to justice and no effort has been made for it in 4 years.

    Medali Barutçu, my dear friend from university was killed when a suicide bomber targeted the group of young people showing solidarity with people of Kobanî on July 20, 2015. One year later, his home was raided by Turkish police and his mother got shot&heavily injured.

    Very strange that it’s been 4 days since a Turkish diplomat & 2 others were murdered in broad daylight in one of the safest areas in , an area full of CCTV & security, yet no one has been arrested or no footage released. The longer it takes the more suspicious it becomes.
