    17 Jul 19: two of the SAA reservists killed today in the IED attack on the al-Yadudah-Sheikh Saad road, . Two confirmed out of the six claimed casualties in the bombing. Another HTS fighter was also verified KIA in the al-Hamamiyat battle last week in .

    A roadside IED, likely planted by ex-rebel insurgency groups, destroyed a van carrying SAA reservists near the town of al-Yadudah, west of city. Initial reports say that five soldiers were killed and 11 were injured in the blast.

    Extrapolating the maximum potential toll from casualties I and others have observed, it's plausible that government forces suffered up to 50 casualties at al-Hamamiyat, while rebel forces lost anywhere between 60 and 70 fighters. Obviously this is guesswork and not confirmed.

    The Tarmah Regiment of the Tiger Forces also lost six members, four confirmed via social media posts as seen below. They were involved in the attack that finally recaptured al-Hamamiyat.

    All four of the fighters were reportedly from Tremseh village, N. territory, and were part of Jaish al-Izza - not confirmed but considering that Jaish al-Izza is a local group, it would make sense.

    15 Jul 19: As the Ministry of Oil and Gas claims the repair of the sabotaged gas transit line running out of the Sha'er Field, two loyalist soldiers were reported KIA in a hit-and-run attack northwest of Deir-ez-Zor. They were both Tartousi locals. Other casualties likely.
