    Whoever did this harmed Kurdistan’s reputation as a safe haven for diplomats and foreigners. And, they helped Turkey to further justify its military incursion into Kurdistan Region. Bad move in every sense possible.

    Recently PKK threatened to target Turkish diplomats/interests in Erbil. These threats came particularly after Turkish airstrikes killed high-ranked PKK members in Qandil area in the Region.
