    BREAKING: Kismayo attackers visited the hotel 2 days prior to attack according to a security source. Attack was carried out by a suicide bomber who was driving a “Surf” car, and 3 suicide infantry; operation likely planned for 2 months; attackers were identified, per source.

    The most important value I’ve learned being in is “patience.” Being patient with my brothers & sisters who have witnessed war and conflict is the least I can do. We can never know the damage war has done, but we can be understanding and patient.

    : 13 hours after the attack on Asasey started, sustained gunfire could still be heard from inside the hotel. Security forces have been trying to end a night-long siege. Local media reports say nearly 12 people dead. Security operation still ongoing.

    I am shattered. What a beautiful soul. Hodan was inspirational. Every tweet or social media post she sent out portrayed positivity and brighter side of a country she loved. Her energy and dedication was truly unmatched. May the Almighty Allah grant you Jannah. Ameeen Yaa Rabb.

    At Yare Masjid, It was about Swalah- (prayer). Performing Swalah is MUST and its part & parcel of evry Muslim's life. The sheikh said, Praying the 5 daily prayers is what keeps our connection with the Almighty Allah & makes us strive to be better Muslims every day. hold on to it.
