    Rebels have not captured too much yet in Latakia. 15 positions. But every position captured is worth a lot in . It would take regime a lot of resources to recapture these aread if foritified properly

    Of course Turkey is not smart enough to support the rebel offensive in Lattakia. The offensive could have prevented the coming escalation between Turkey and regime & Russia in Hama. Turkish leaders seem to be too incompetent.

    As I said the defensive lines were breached, now also at least 3 hills captured and unofficial sources report even more. Main attacking force is jbht ansar al deen and other rouse the believers groups, NLF is involved and some independent FSA.

    After crushing regime offensive led by "elite" 4th division and totally humiliating them, the rebels have started their own offensive in Latakia. Advancing in Lattakia is very hard, but reports that some defenses have been breached.
