    Like most crises in Turkey, an absolutely unnecessary one, the product of an unforced error.

    If nothing else, the widespread condemnation of 's "report" targeting foreign journalists is a welcome opportunity to highlight to those invited to speak on SETA panels that they are being used as window-dressing for a fundamentally dishonest AKP-run apology shop.

    The actual declaration isn't available for the public to see anywhere and tells me they don't know if it ever will be. Has, for example, Britain just committed to deporting Gülenists or YPG members? The UK doesn't consider them terrorists, but Turkey certainly does.
