i've been in #duhok and #erbil for a few days and talked to some random people. the way most of them defended erdogan and are not in any way whatsoever critical to the kdp disturbed me, to be honest. fully fledged #akp kurds obviously also exist in #kurdistan region iraq.
To be honnest, very few people defend Erdogan in Duhok. Btw we appreciat objectivity from a journalist,not to be a judge or inquisitor. I mean we don't live their dayli routine, so not necessary understand their opinion. This is commun among western journalists covering kurdistan
objectivity doesn't exist. i try to understand, i mainly listen when i have such conversations, i don't get into discussions, just ask some questions. after that, sometimes i take to twitter to share and express.
What I mean is everybody talk about Turkey or PKK, but the third part, people Who live in these zone ( and who mainly don't understand this war), are never highlighted.
