    Hasan has long had health problems - recently flouting sanctions to travel to Lebanon for medical treatment - but was in Deraa a few days ago telling civilians to “forget about” those who had been detained in the early years of the civil war.

    Think Russia has a slightly different interpretation of what “stabilisation” means for Idlib 🤔 Great that you’re enabling them though 👍

    Constructive meeting today w/FM Lavrov on all aspects of Syrian situation. We agree there is no military solution in & discussed need to stabilise situation in Idlib & move forward w/ the constitutional committee & build confidence among Syrians and internationally.
