(bug): Token balance not reflected on site

It appears that token balance is not always being correctly reflected on the site.

What is the current bug behavior?
The user has purchased tokens but they do not appear on the wallets page (despite being there on metamask.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Tokens should be in sync with metamask.
