  1. drive safe. This car accident took the life of my uncle's wife, who was a wife of a martyr, and mother to three kids. The driver was speeding. He killed himself and his son too. Please think twice before you speed. Our roads have become a genocide of its own.

  2. As big as this city grows, as much as it develops, as many fancy cafes open... I still find the deepest joy having my chai along an alley in Erbil's Qaysari bazaar. My little dream to open a tea-house someday still sits in my mind... amongst all the other little dreams & wishes..

  9. We always complain there aren't enough women being represented in public affairs. You know what there isn't enough of? Daycares! First we need a few decent standard daycares to watch our kids, then we can leave our homes to be sat around male dominated round tables
