I probably shouldn't be saying this, but...fuck it, its late and I'm in THIS kinda mood... About a year or so ago, I was writing a Twitter thread about CA, I made some snarky comment about how my experiences differed from the horror stories I heard...
...I said something like "There was, like, actual food and water on set! Lots of it!" or words to that effect... And Brad DM'd me to "Well Ackshuwullee" me.
Now, keep in mind, it's a HUGE stretch to say I was ever close friends with Brad. I only ever hung out with him at MAGFest. It had been three years since we'd last DM'd each other, and even THAT was business-related.
And now, over four months after I'd left the site and it all seemed like ancient history, Brad Fucking Jones was sending me DMs like I'd insulted CA's honor, even though the larger point of my lame joke was that they'd actually gotten BETTER. It was...weird.
What a strange decision for him to make. I'm so sorry. I don't have any direct tangible bad experience with him, other than feeling like I didn't really know him and maybe I shouldn't but I didn't have a good reason to explore why I felt that way. Maybe it was spider sense, idk.
I mean, it was fine. Not like it hurt personally, it was just weird.
Yeah, I agree, that doesn't sound like an attack or anything, just a really bizarre thing for a person to do.
