    Senior tribal leader of the Bu Assaf clan Ubaid Khalaf al-Hassan was found dead in his bed today in a village near Tal Abyad. He was assassinated. This is a bad sign for stability of the north east of Syria. Reminds me of killing of Sheikh Bashir Faisal al-Huwaidi in .

    The MMC reports infighting between TFSA groups in Halongi village on the Sagur River this afternoon. And published these photos of the “fighting” It now turns out that the TFSA were disposing of munitions and a car bomb. Why they did this on the front line I do not know.

    A suicide car bomb has gone off in Abu Ra’sayn. The driver failed to hurt anyone, but there are reports of much material damage to shops and vehicles. The target was an SDF headquarters.

    i had an incredibly inspiring day in . interview this morning with a (very charismatic) tribal leader who leads the commission of the autonomous administration, then a session of the commission. i learned so much and felt very privileged to witness this.
