if we remove the title the user has no visual indication that he is seeing the visited channels lists. the user can change to another tab and return and they will not know if they are seeing visited channels or the suggested ones. are you sure you want to remove it? @ottman

The title isn't the issue. You can leave the blue bar, but keep the search everywhere. It is only accessible from 'channels'. It should be everpresent even if it only searches channels. The UX is too many taps otherwise.

Chatted with @msantang78, now refactoring into a new component (similar to how you see a channel pop up when you click on it), as this makes the most sense in terms of UX. The issue is that we're shoehorning a component into the discovery that can't be filtered, and doesn't really need to be tied to discovery.
