3- Turkey should be able to imagine what happens when CHP, with all its ideological hatred and vengeful politics, comes to power! CHP is still the same old vile CHP with a bit of make up. Defeat them in ballots for they will give you nothing but bullets.

2- Turkey is a majoritarian democracy & nowhere close to say Sweden but if after 16 years of Erdogan power, which has been much more successful compared to his predecessors, you can still compete in elections and have a chance to win, then such comparisons are immoral.

Commendable work by MEE. It debunks the myth of ‘Sisi rescued Egypt from dangerous Islamists’ Like it or not, Islamist rule coincided with the only democratic opening in the history of the country and their demise was the end of democracy too Read and learn

But it is quite a scene h be HDP voters, some who go as far as burning themselves for Ocalan, are directed to vote for Imamoglu while Imamoglu base is now using Ocalan’s ‘neutrality’ call as a proof of PKK-AK Parti relationship

I have to say, I am surprised by Bahceli’s ability to embrace a moment of pragmatism While pro-Imamoglu IYI Parti has filled Turkish nationalist Twitter with Ocalan-Yildirim photos to mobilise Turkish nationalist vote, Bahceli has taken the saner approach

As a testimony to the ethics Morsi has raised his kids on, despite all the unfair opposition and betrayal of his dad’s old friend, Morsi’s son is now calling for his rescue

Many in the crowd of cowards & halfwits imply Morsi was Islamist that is why he ended up that way Well, this is Abolfotoh. He renounced Brotherhood. Joined forces against MB. Rid Morsi of 2m votes. Supported June 30 Now he’s about to die in prison too! Explain this bichas

HDP is free to choose which candidate they vote for but they can’t do that in the name of the ‘Kurdish nation’ At this moment, they don’t represent Kurdish interests in Turkey. Kurds shouldn’t allow an ideological elite of leftist beyaz Kurds hijack their agency.

There is only one and only one explanation for HDP’s decision: Ideological hatred HDP no longer represents the interests of Kurdish citizens in Hakkari and Amed, they represent an elite of extremist leftist ideologues who still live in the dreams of Lenin

HDP’s ideological base has for long slandered, vilified and cursed the millions of Kurds in Turkey who have become AK Parti voters since 2001 questioning their ‘Kurdishness’ Today, HDP shamelessly & publicly supports the party of Dersim massacre & assimilation: CHP

A good warning of future power consolidation by Erdogan. Turkey's Islamic vision is far bigger and more deeply rooted than anything secularists can offer. That much I agree with.

    10. It’s time to put the Old Turkey represented best in CHP’s authoritarian, extremist secular and isolationist vision, to rest. A new, stronger & more stable Turkey needs to defeat CHP one last time.

    9. Istanbul election is not only about Istanbul. It’s of great symbolic value. An AK Parti victory means a stronger and more stable Turkey in the region and a more motivated Erdogan for structural reform

    8. The populist anti-Erdogan rhetoric which is also mainstreamed in foreign press has nothing to offer Turkey. They can’t do better than AK Parti in terms of services and they have no grand vision for Turkey’s regional role.

    7. The Istanbul electorate will be choosing b/w 2 different visions. CHP’s candidate is the Old Turkey with some make up and sweeter words. To help New Turkey go on an easier start, the CHP vision should be destroyed.

    6. Erdogan has the audacity of entering the moment of truth after the elections. Turkey’s internal peace and its regional role requires extraordinary steps. No election can or should hinder that.
