11 yrs ago I took in a 17 yr old Mexican boy who had nowhere to go. He looked just described here, except he wore bandannas rather than baseball caps. We were poor, definitely had an EBT card. Now he has a degree in philosophy and speaks 4 languages. Left the US for Germany.
