This is important as it shows Erdoğan’s core belief re: Kurds of Turkey; as the the head of governments which have done more for Kurds than any other in history of the Republic, he feels he owes them nothing. In fact they ought to display more gratitude (ergo loyalty) towards him

And Erdoğan has felt this way since either the first time Selahattin Demirtaş defiantly said “Seni Başkan yaptırmayacağız” or when he saw the general election results of June 2015. Or both.
