Dear Başûrîs, I plead to you again. Either spend 10 minutes to learn the latin-based Kurdish alphabet or write in the abjad-based alphabet. Stuff like To wakw w w7t to mn dw is impossible to read. #TwitterKurds

They say my Kurdish is not good enough when i write correct latin-alphabet.

I've had people tell me that my Kurdish is bad because it's not "eger" it's "agar", since they misunderstand how the vowels work. Axx.

I’d say that to all Soranî speakers, not just in Başûr. For those in Rojhelat all the “w”s become “v”s!!

That's even worse, it's taking the Persian pronunciation of و which is v/ڤ instead not w. Are they doing that while writing Sorani in Latin script?

Yes, that’s right, eg: jovan for ciwan, va for û, Varya for Wirya. Also using “gh” for “q”, again adopted from the Persian pronunciation of ق!
