    The PUK Political Bureau Spokesperson says Mahmud Sangawi's statements do not represent the PUK, reiterating that they had a meeting with the KDP delegation yesterday & working to form the new cabinet and face the challenges together.

    Mahmud Sangawi tells Masoud Barzani that the former traitors-Baathists have been promoted to "general" by Masoud Barzani. It seems that the KDP has not accepted any PUK nominees for the post of the Kirkuk Governor.

    Also, the politburos exercise exclusive jurisdiction over these types of disputes. The 2017 ceasefire and settlement is even printed on KDP letterhead. Why would anyone bring their disputes in court when the politburos provide the remedy?

    There have been so many tribal rift, honour killings, killings, land disputes & so on in the Kurdistan Region, still exist, & these issues have been resolved through tribal norms in violation of law. The KRG lacks rule of law, & this is the reason ppl have lost trust in courts.

    The bullets fired at the fight b/n Harki & Zebari tribes over the ownership of an agricultural water canal, which lasted 4 hrs, estimated to be about 100 million Iraqi dinars, 2 ppl have been killed & 7 got wounded, Rudaw reported. Yet the problem is solved through tribal norms.
