The entire point of the story is for Putin to read it and understand that having Trump in his pocket won't stop U.S. deterrence. It's a radical information operation.

The President finds out his own intelligence people are keeping information about Russian actions away from him and his response is to go on twitter to make sure Putin knows he really did have no idea what his people were doing.

It's pretty clear Putin has dirt on Trump. I find it funny in the extreme that the party which wrapped itself oh so tightly in the flag and called everyone else 'unpatriotic' Is the party that now actively assists foreign powers in attacking our nation.
