I meet Syrian refugees from Deir al-Zour, Raqqa etc in #Istanbul, among them also those who fled after the liberation of ISIS/completely destruction of their town. I haven't met one yet who was positive. Complete lack of confidence. (Otherwise they wouldn't have fled of course).
I think it is sustainable given the alternatives that people have. Almost no one likes the PYD, but it's better than the regime/Iran or ISIS - the only possible alternatives at this stage
