A) The delay at the airport was because they flew from an unverified airport. Iceland has the strongest airport security in the world (Icelanders are no fans of it either). B) That's not a toilet brush. C) That guy isn't from Iceland. D) You have a great team, much respect.pic.twitter.com/BvQwzQRF8V

What ever it is, I don’t want to think you are encouraging asking for interview with a brush. How do you know he isn’t from iceland, or where ever he is from, it’s happened at icelan airport which is iceland’s responsibility to provide the security of our national team.
-
We also respect iceland national team, they are one of the strongest team. We would have never expected to face this in such a beautiful and small country
-
I think it's very unfortunate how this transpired. People here are mad both at the airport security and this tourist. I hope we can continue to have mutual respect. Good luck on Tuesday.
-
B) yeah, it was the guy's toothbrush
-
Not that it matters but it's actually a kitchen brush.
-
Tell that to him, not me

There should be a revenge in Turkey. When they come to Turkey, we will have huge security concerns. So behalf of them will be better if they come more earlier to airport!
-
dont worry they will come 5 months later to turkey.. Turkish police will keep them at the airport at least 5 hours. :)

This is despicable.. Sport should not be politicized.. Shameful behavior by Iceland..This should be condemned strongly
-
So I guess you will also be condemning the response from some Turkish fans also? Maybe also fact check what you read online in the future. There is no conspiracy against the Turkish team or supporters. They are more then welcome to Iceland.
-
I made my observation based on the video.. I am not blind. BTW, Iceland is not the only country to be biased against Turkey, because of Erdogan and his politics.. US is the worst perpetrator of being guilty of this blatant bias.. Iceland is thousand times better than US..

1. The guy with the brush is not Icelandic. 2. The story is very in-accurate. It took the team just over two hours, from leaving the airplane to arriving at the hotel. Fact. Same time as it took the Icelandic national team two years ago, when coming home from Turkey

With all due respect to my Turkish brothers & sisters, one man's immature actions with a Washing up Brush, shouldn't be an excuse to tarnish a whole nation. The only way to reply to this childish affront, is by being courteous to the Icelandic team & fans when they visit Turkey!!

One tiny quibble: it’s not a toilet brush but used to clean dishes :-)

Iceland tries to present themselves as this tolerant, modern society when in fact they’re just another incredibly racist and islamophobic nation. I hope the Turks crush them
-
Islamaphobic nation...!? The only country that had the balls to stand with muslims in the biggest TV event in Europe by doing this in Eurovision in Israel few weeks ago.! The airport delay was the Turks fault for using non international airport and nobody knows that brush guy.!pic.twitter.com/icL6VvwRB6
