An 11-year-old kid, nom de guerre Abu Bakr al-Sinjari, was killed fighting in the ranks of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (in the recently formed Jaysh Ali Bin Abi Taleb) in the northern Hama countryside. All sides of the Syrian civil war have used child soldiers.pic.twitter.com/o78HzpYzsS

He hardly looks like a 11 year old, he seems to be in his early teens, most bedouins are known to look much younger then their ages. Do you have evidence to proove his an 11 year old or is this based on sepuclations ?

I'd say his 16 unless evidence is presented to show otherwise, HTS have a policy of not accepting recruits under the age of 16. What are such young lads ment to do when they witness loved ones crushed under rubble and their villages destroyed by War planes?

If I was his age and in Syria, ofcourse I'd take up arms if I was to see such brutality carried out against my own people.

If you consider the size of an AK-47 of 88cm I doubt this kid is 11 years old. Also with an armed weight of 4kg he would be the strongest boy ever.

This is not true. Kurds only use ages 18+ for their forces. And the SAA also do not use children. The only ones that do are the 'opposition'. The people you openly support. Turkish proxies, AQ, IS, TFSA ALL use children.

What did he see in his life except war? This is not separatistic war this is war for survival, he probably has done much more than he would living "normaly" and yet he could have died earlyer by barrel bombs that way.

Tragic. But it is the regime and PKK (boys and girls) that force conscript them. And you should highlight that ....

There's no PKK in Syria, you sound like a Turk regime troll or ignorant. Also theres no conscription in the PKK, who only operate in Turkey & Iraq.

child soldiers are an unfortunately effective way to raise an army Their adulthood will be filled with further war and suffering, that’s all they know... it’s a reality they know well while Americans such as myself live relatively safely. I do not take it for granted.
