There is what I disagree and agree with,I agree that SDF attacked the North Aleppo rebellion in 2016 unprovoked, attacking it with weird coincidence with the regime axis invasion South,at Tal Jibin, and Raytan, and Mardasat Al-Khan,What I disagree with is that SDF aren’t Syrians

And Afrin YPG played a role in it
-
IMO Russia & Turkey successfully managed to exaggerate this role. Afrin YPG always was only a very limited force. At the same time SAA, Russia & Irans offensive was powerfull, pushing easily through to Nubl & Zahraa. The clever move by Russia was to utilizing Afrin YPG as buffer
-
Afrin YPG still played a role, the Rebels could have launched Double-Front counterattacks from both the south front at Bayanoon, and North Front from Kafr Nasih,Afrin YPG was powerful enough to smash through rebell lines,Rebels were facing three powerful foes at that time
-
rebels were already defeated. Also I dont think its frontline vs YPG was strong, as they didn’t expect an attack from the rear. So it was an easy gain even for limited Afrin YPG, which actually had its strength in defending & thus, yes, prevented FSA to ever open this front again

Still immoral in the part of Afrin YPG,and this act had disastrous effects leading the rebellion to conventionally losing the war
