    Hopefully if Turkey buys the S-400s and the US responds, as it should, with sanctions, that will be the moment for both sides to take a deep breath and avoid going any further down this road.

    I agree there's been too much hand wringing, and its come at a cost, but I still worry the bigger risk comes from when we eventually overcompensate.
