PicoLog 6.1.10 contains the following new features:

  • Open .picolog files in multiple windows
  • Remember user's PDF output settings so they don't have to reconfigure each time
  • Allow base SI exponent to be changed in table view
  • Updated kernel drivers

PicoLog 6.1.10 contains the following bug fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where DrDAQ was unable to load firmware and therefore work from new on Linux and macOS systems
  • Fixed and issue where alarm activation/deactivation appeared to be delayed in graph view
  • PicoLog 6.1.9 could open legacy .picolog files that didn't contain a start date/time
  • Fixed a problem which caused ADC-20/24 and DrDAQ devices to use high CPU load

Open .picolog files in multiple windows

The major new feature in this release is the ability to open saved .picolog captures in separate PicoLog 6 windows. This means you can see view your current live capture while browsing captures from previously saved captures.

A nice side effect of adding this feature is a significant improvement in application start-up time.

Remember user's PDF output settings so they don't have to reconfigure each time

A minor feature that remembers the last PDF export setting used so you don't have to reconfigure each time you export.

Allow base SI exponent to be changed in table view

Previously the table view would default the units to the base SI unit. For example, the PicoLog CM3 current logger would always report in mA, so 100 amps was reported as 100,000 mA. Now you can select a more appropriate unit to display and record.

Updated kernel drivers

This change is under the hood... PicoLog 6 now uses the latest kernel drivers for our products for improved compatibility, reliability and performance.
