Just wanted to make a post in my FA journal, since I hadn't yet. I am "the FurBuy guy" (well, I maintain the software anyway) so here's a post where you can leave comments with questions, comments, feedback or etc. that you might have about the site and how it works. Feature requests are always welcome too, I love creating new features that make things easier or better for folks. FurBuy now links back to users' FA accounts and soon FA will offer a similar feature including listing the live status of your auctions in your FA userpage! Very cool stuff. =)
awsome~~ I have a question though, more like a problem. I tried registering on furbuy but it wouldn't let me because my name is too short o.O What do i do? Should i make up a pen name to use? o.o I showed it to my friends and they were like, that's hilarious lol XD
Huh, really? How long is your full name? I can adjust the system to allow for shorter names, but we take identity and such very seriously, I can't think of any cases where someone's name would be less than 6 characters long... But yeah, I'm fairly flexible with adjusting the system, just let me know how long your name is. Thanks. =)
Hmmm, I'm Chinese as well (to an extent) and every other Chinese person I know has three names, including myself. Shay Yung Hsu. Since my brother is Shay Yung Han you wouldn't be able to tell us apart (in English) without the middle name. I'll go ahead and adjust the name field to accept only 6 characters though, it will probably be done by the time you read this. =)
Oh yeah, also the people with a name like Li Yi, if they didn't want to give their middle name, could just expand the Pin Yin out to MPS-style and make it Lee Yee. I grew up in Taiwan so I'm used to using MPS for romanization anyway, Pin Yin still confuses me with the X, Q and I letters!
I suppose I can expand it english style, the closest would probably be Yan Foo, but foo sounds soo... foo... lol Maybe I'll use a nick, like Yanni Fu or something XD
Although if you looked around enough, a lot of chinese people have 2 character names instead of 3. Being born in china, I'd say that there are more 2 character named people than 3 charactered people =)
