This exact group.. is why I stopped using Discord all together. The people you mentioned, especially the admins, always twisted my words and constantly made me feel horrible about myself. I actually got anxiety when I saw their name in your tweet, but thank you for speaking up!

This is horrible Gum... I'm so sorry you had to go through something so terrible, just know that despite these people there's very kind ones on Discord as well. It's just shame that this experience has driven you away from being able to interact with others on Discord. :(
I'm really happy to hear that you've grown to overcome that experience! <3 This growth is something no one can take from you, and you don't need some silly 3rd-party messaging app to hinder you from that so I'm really glad you've been doing better since then

Ngl, I personally never had any interaction with these artists (LUCKILY!) and I only shared this to help others. I only follow sheepiu because of their cute art- but seeing how manipulative they are I'm considering on trying not to associate myself with them anymore...
I see!! Well, that's great then! Sheepiu is still a talented artist with a very likeable art style, so whether you choose for yourself to continue "associating" with them or not is entirely up to your conscience.
They really are and it‘s a shame- because everytime I‘ll see their art from now on it‘ll remind me of this tragedy. :( I just hope these artists will learn to grow from this callout and don‘t end up hurting more people
I hope so too. But knowing people like them, they'll see it as a temporary social distraction and think it will fade in a little while, then will go right back to what they were dping before.
