it is possible there is a D notice on reporting about Julian Assange. UK MSM is (almost) totally silent on the case. Channel4 News, which would be expected to report, says nothing at all.

Those D notices are intriguing. Are there any statistics available ? Can they be FOIA-ed after some delay? Have British news organizations thought of some sort of warrant canary system to inform their audience?

I wish Bernanos book « La France contre les Robots » was available in English. This book published in 1947 was prescient in a way Orwell’s 1984 and Eisenhower speech about the militaro industrial complex were. Bernanos book immediately jumped to my mind when I saw the picture.
