Centrum Mot Rasism ā
Centre Against Racism (CMR) is an NGO with offices in Stockholm. The association, which is an umbrella organization with over one hundred member organizations, was founded in 2003. Centre against Racism works against racism and all forms of discrimination, xenophobia, homophobia, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and anti-Gypsyism. The organization operates under a grant from the main Youth Board.

Achievements
In April 2005 Centrum Mot Rasism attracted attention when they criticized the advertisement for ice cream Nogger Black for being racist, which led to the questioning of the operation's seriousness in many media.

Later in 2005 integration minister Jens Orback called for an investigation into Centrum Mot Rasism.

Karlstad's municipal city planning committee changed the name of the neighborhood named Negro in the Tingvallastaden after the Centre against Racism had protested against a name that could be perceived as prejudiced and racist. The neighborhood name Negro had arisen in 1866 in connection with the reconstruction of the city after a raging fire that year.
