My account was barrel bombed by pro Assad and Russian fascists. I survived. They want to kill the truth. They don’t know we live to tell it.

Bismillah ... I’m back. My account was suspended after 10 years here. May take a while to find and follow people (as I followed +8,000 on my last account), and to respond to everyone who’s been generously trying to recover my old account. Grateful for you all. ❤️

Only one of these photos is from camp. The first is a camp in Idlib, the second is Deir Ezzor, the third is the Za’atari camp, the last is from Rukban camp. I was suspended on my other account for calling people like this out.

As the world remains indifferent, people in are taking action themselves and will march towards the Turkish border. Please stand with them by adding your voice and amplifying their desperate pleas for safety and peace.

You might not see it now but what happens in Syria is affecting you or will affect you, in ways you never imagined. We are giving tyrants worldwide permission to slaughter us, uphold corruption, and erase international law by allowing Assad and others to continue their crimes.

Because of Assad backed by Russia, the number of refugees spiked worldwide, which led to Far-Right parties gaining power country by country with Russia backing them too. You can thank Assad for Trump, you can thank Assad for Brexit, you can thank Assad for the rise of populism.

Look, stop looking at Syria like this abstract location & event that doesn't impact you or has nothing to do with you. It has everything to do with you & the social contracts with our governments. This is a 10-year long experiment testing how far tyrants can go to stay in power.

"But Anon this would never happen in my country, the military wouldn't allow it! they are patriots!" Guess what? THAT'S WHAT EVERYBODY ALWAYS THINKS. Did you know that most of the armed rebellion against Assad was from his own military? Yeah. So what do you think happens?

The standard in Syria + Yemen that is being placed is that your government can call in a foreign government to help kill its own citizens & it's okay. Think about it this way, what happens if Trump does not want to go & invites Russia to help keep control? That's what Assad did.

What happens in Syria or Yemen won't stay there, these aren't just foreign governments bombing some other country for resources, but foreign governments backing corrupt heads of state into massacring all opposition and dissenters within their country

For those ignoring Syria and the atrocities committed by Russia and Assad day by day, there will come the day when someone in power in your country likely backed by Russia will do the same to your neighborhoods and there will be nobody around to stop it.

PM Netanyahu has had his worst day in politics, but to make him feel better Jared Kushner hand delivered new US map showing annexed Golan Heights as part of Israel. Trump wrote “Nice”:

Islamophobia at its finest. Which is absolutely no surprise coming from an Assadist. Patrick, I wear “Muslim dresses” all the time and I also wear “western clothing”. By your logic, that makes me a “western terrorist”.

Hi you appear to have limited the account of a Syrian civil society activist who has been doing vital work documenting airstrikes in Idlib, including on his own house. I would suggest that you should not be doing this, and request that you fix this.

sorry, why did you suspend ? He is a guy living in Maarat al-Nouman (Idlib) whose home has been destroyed by a Russia|n or SyAF airstrike few days ago. He also lost a relative in the attack. Reinstate his account immediately.
