Hi,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

Firstly, try to install all the available Windows updates if there are any and reboot the computer and check if issue persists.

Place the computer in Clean boot and check.

Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/en-us

Note: After clean boot troubleshooting steps, refer to the section "How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot" in the provided link to return your computer to Normal startup mode.

If issue still persists, I suggest you to run Deployment Image Service and Management Tool command (DISM).

By running this command we can retrieve or modify information within an image. To run the DISM command please follow the below steps:

  1. Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard and select “Command Prompt (Admin)” from the list.
  2. Type “Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth” and press “Enter”.
  3. Wait for the command to execute which might take around 30 minutes.
  4. After the command is executed, restart the computer and check if the issue persist.

Hope this information is helpful. Please do let us know if you need further assistance, we’ll be glad to assist you.
