If you are Syrian or even just a concerned human watching #Syria and feel like helping but you don't know how.. This is the most important thread you will read this year, so pls read it, take action, and if you are not going to take action, at least please share it.
1st, some background: Over the last 8yrs, I have worked with and/or advised all sorts of individuals, orgs and groups working that tried to end the bloodshed and save Syria from both sides: the criminal regime and terrorists that have infested our country.
Some of these groups still exist and some don't. Many couldn't agree on a way forward, some got hijacked by ppl personal gains or outside interests, others lost sight of the mission..many have done great work other turned out working for other agendas...and so on.
Then in 2018 I came across this very peculiar small group of passionate Syrians, somehow they all got along, all agreed on same principles (human rights, independence, equality, anti all sorts of tyranny and subjugation on all levels. And these ppl meant business...
This group had one mission: Reach out to Donald Trump and let him know what is really going on in #Syria. To do so, they all agreed: don't re-invent the wheel, just find out how others succeeded at it, then copy+paste.
Example: last year, this group was watching the news like all of us. Assad & his backers regained most Syrian towns by either carpet bombing or starving them into submission...by fall 2018, the regime & Russia had their eyes on #Idlib.
By Oct 2018, regime, Iranian militias & Hizbollah freed & mobilized their militias from then-subdued fronts, amassed tens of 1000s upon 1000s of troops, Russia started raining down everything in its inventory and Assad helis dropped barrel bombs paving the way for the offensive
This group realized something had to be done. Alas, no one is going to move a finger, ISIS is on the verge of collapse, Trump has already said he wants to pull out, Idlib will fall if they do nothing. So they got together and devised a plan. Watch:https://youtu.be/DQlfuOfbJaE
C4SSA ran a campaign that *single-handidly* stopped Assad, Russia and Iran's offensive on Idlib last year. This is not an exaggeration, this is by Trump's & own admission (and later the admission or Russia). This is unheard of, and is why I am writing this long thread.
