Imagine a prostitute you really wanted to hire, retired. You have all the money in the world, but you can't have sex with her because she's off the market now. So you rape her. And you say "that was the only way for me to enjoy her" to justify it. That's manga scantalation.
Some foreign "fans" have to understand that Japanese manga/anime isn't always going to be simultaneously localized and published. There are going to be works and side stories that'll never see the light of day overseas. And that's just something you have to live with.
I live in Japan, so as much as I love Jordan Klepper's new show, I can only catch snippets of it on YouTube because Comedy Central doesn't show the full episode to people living outside America. I can send a letter to CC and ask for it, but whether they do so is up to them.
It'll take time, but you can always learn Japanese and read/watch the Japanese version. Or wait, hopefully, for an officially licensed version. It sucks (I know) that publishers take their time in releasing things. But scantalations never help the author.
No matter how much you fell in love with an anime or manga, you aren't entitled to it. Just like how a person you pine for won't always return the affection. But your next logical step won't be to rape them, right? At least I hope it's not...
