    On 8th anniversary of the 'n Revo, for me as a Syrian; 1- the Syrian regime fall, & for ever, the moment it confronted bare peaceful chests with bullets. 2-Syrian Oppos/rebels failed the moment they 've been led by Muslim brotherhoods, & radical Islamist ground commdrs.

    's Hatay wali (provincial governor) closes Syrian IDPs centers in region; instructs local councils to only use the new residency place as Afrin and ignore their original one (Ghouta, Homs, ..etc). A clear sign of demographic change targets this Kurdish region.

    Met this mom 2 years ago with . She led her whole family out of during ISIS while 8 months pregnant. Saw her last week & I keep thinking about her courage. She is supporting all her family now. These moms are the front lines of the fight for stability, peace.

    In visited shopkeeper I met a year ago. Her business, which I worried might be closed, actually is booming. She has one worker and stayed open til 1230 am the other eve for Ramadan shoppers. Big issue: security and keeping stability.
