    This tank was also seen on a video from Kafr Nabudah released yesterday. So that's 5 tanks lost just inside the town. Add to that all the ATGM strikes of Jaysh al-Izza and the NLF and it becomes clear that the regime's armoured fleet has taken a considerable hit.

    I fundamentally disagree with this line of thinking. Seeing how the (limited) Turkish support to the rebels enabled them to inflict a decisive victory over the regime offensive forces, it is apparent that the Assad/RU/Iran victory is far from inevitable.

    This is a truly excellent and impressive analysis of the Syrian rebels’ operational competence and fighting abilities, but also of the strategic futility of their efforts given superior Assad/Russian airpower and firepower.
