They don't really care about Galmudug, Al-shabaab has the ability to carry out attacks in any place but their number one target is Mogadishu for number of reasons

“Capital status” is a lame excuse. One needs to understand why SL communities/cities, Kismaanyo, Galmudug main towns and Puntland communities/cities are effective in preventing AS attacks and what Mogadishu and other places can learn to effectively counter AS attacks.

London and other places don’t witness weekly or monthly attacks. And I wouldn’t call cities like Kismanyo, Garowe and Hargeisa “deserts”.
