Back from 6th trip to Ne #Syria.3 points: 1) US is an Oz-like presence: you don't see them ever, but they keep external actors at bay. 2) Foreign women who followed ISIS I met are a mix of disappointed, deluded & desiring to go home. 3) Women's gains are real, including in Raqqa.
