The goal of the photo enforcement program is to reduce crashes, fatalities and protect our residents and visitors from aggressive and dangerous drivers.

PHOTO ENFORCEMENT fixed LOCATIONS

The Police Department has five fixed site photo enforcement locations that monitor either speed or red light violations at various locations throughout the city. 

• 3300 Block of North Main Street at Ashwood Avenue NB: Speed Enforced
• 1200 Block of North Gettysburg Avenue near Fairbanks Avenue NB & SB: Speed Enforced
• 100 Block of South Keowee Street near East Fourth Street NB & SB: Speed Enforced
• South Smithville Road SB at Linden Avenue: Red Light Enforced
• Linden Avenue WB at South Smithville Road: Red Light Enforced
• West Third Street EB & WB at North James H. McGee Boulevard: Red Light Enforced
• North James H. McGee Boulevard SB at West Third Street: Red Light Enforced

PHOTO ENFORCEMENT mOBILE TRAILER LOCATIONS

The Police Department utilizes mobile speed trailer units at various locations in the city.  Here are the current locations of those trailers:  

• 900 Block of Wilmington Avenue at Bellaire Avenue NB & SB
• 3300 Block of North Main Street at Ashwood Avenue SB
