There’s reason to be optimistic as Tigers have regathered their forces and began counterattack. Losses in life (most important factor) thankfully been minimal. What happened has definitely shown Syrian milcommand necessity of redeploying domestic fire support assets to the north.

The two could’ve very likely agreed on something not necessarily related to Syria (like S400s or some other strategic deal). Anyway, this could severely impair the relationship between Russia and Syria forcing the latter to fall in line more with Iran.

During the ceasefire, the Russian negotiated with the Turks on matters undisclosed. HTS and Turkey’s other jihadist allies used that as an opportunity to mobilize forces and prepare for counterattack. Huge losses, but out of nowhere Russian aerial and artillery support ended.

Only 3 of the vehicles HTS displayed as SAA losses belonged to the Tiger Forces. The rest were their own. Good news is that there were no adventures (low losses). Tigers retreated in a calculated and safe manner. 2 soldiers imprisoned. 4 were confirmed killed (number is higher)

Most of the artillery firepower in northern Syria has been contracted to the Russians. There was no artillery support in the last 10 hours of the battle. The change was sudden. Rebel losses were a 100+ in the attacks of the previous day. Some 100+ HTS motorcycles were destroyed.

The problem that no one talks about with the Tiger Forces is how entrenched the Russians have become in their structure. They have taken complete control of the fire support and command and control elements of the unit. So the Tigers cannot do anything w/out Russian consent.

The decision to withdraw was made around 2 hours and 15 minutes ago. I’ll reveal everything that happened to the best of my knowledge later.

Yes, they recaptured Kafr Nabudah after the Syrian Army ordered a withdrawal from the town following 10 hours of combat. The factors behind the retreat are more external than they are field-related. Do not be surprised if SAA withdraws from the remainder of the liberated areas.

The old Arabic writers were eloquent, passionate, and personal. You feel like they are speaking to you directly. Even the modern Arabs today have forgotten how great they once were. It breaks my heart.

We’ve witnessed members of Congress from both parties shift their views 180 degrees—on the importance of character, on the principles of obstruction of justice—depending on whether they’re discussing Bill Clinton or Donald Trump.

Lmao what They accused the Syrian gov’t of striking Kabani- a deserted tiny mountain town- with chemical weapons? There’s literally no political, military, or even pure sadistic ambition to be satisfied with the utility of chemical weapons on the Latakia front.
