    Also most of the scary increase in your chart comes from just two sources: China & Middle Eastern petrostates. Net new USD issuance has been quite subdued everywhere else (Argentina excepted). Between huge CA surpluses & positive IIPs, China & ME issuance is well supported.

    Turkey has just imposed a 1 day delay on Turkish retail accounts shifting TRY (worth $100k or more) into FX. The most savvy accounts might buy forwards. The nervous might buy much more FX, because maybe this 1 day delay becomes 1 week or 1 month .. more detail tomorrow
