    I wonder if Jalaluddin al Tunisi or Abdel Qader al Najdi – the big names sent by Baghdadi to lead the Islamic State in Libya years ago and allegedly still alive – are in that small column of technicals wandering in Libyan Fezzan. Guess they aren't.

    Clarification: Islamic State in Libya is not just "30 men". That's more or less the number of fighters in the open acting as a guerrilla group, looking for targets, ready to engage. As far as we know, their quiet network in Libya could be anything from a few dozens up to hundreds

    Interestingly, they casually announced it now and not in the Wilaya-reports handed to Baghdadi during the video released just eleven days ago. Guess this Wilayah is Pakistan centered, a matter which is almost neglected for now.

    IS claims an attack in Indian-administered , assigning it for the first time to a new branch: "Wilayah of Hind" (India branch). Previously, IS assigned attacks in Kashmir to its so-called Khorasan Province branch.

    I think the current dream of the Islamic State in Libya is, under the right circumstances, move itself somewhere near the frontline between GNA and LNA. Maybe they'll succeed with more fragmentation, more chaos, prolonged clashes or the confrontation going deeper in Tripoli

    Between Ramadan 2012 and Ramadan 2013 the Islamic State in Iraq attacked prisons to free its men in a year long campaign named “Breaking the walls” - and strengthened its ranks. Same in Libya now

    - claim attack on LNA HQ in , causing 16 casualties, forcing other fighters to flee and releasing prisoners that were held as captives in the camp

    Al Baghdadi now accepting a risk he accepted only once when the Islamic State was in control of wide swaths of territory

    Could include a message by top figures like al Muhajir or al Baghdadi, but the current situation after Baghouz is peak vulnerability for leaders. Producing new stuff with them means compromising the bubble of security in which they are surviving
