THIS. If someone supports a side, it DOESNT mean he is its master. Ottomans supported dutch protestant rebels fighting for freedom of their homeland in XVI cent. If this happened now, there would be idiots calling them "islamist proxies created by Ottomans to destabilize Europe".

Thousands took to the streets in Kashmir to protest the rape of three-year-old girl. Indian Occupation Forces turned up and fired tear gas and pellet guns on the protesters.

The antiwar position is that bombing hospitals is good and the pro-war position is that actually it's bad. Sorry, it's 2019.

Exactly, thats the primary problem. Also from what I was able to see, american dumb policy gives opposite effect. Iranian people, who would normally dislike government policy, are feeling attacked by sanctions and start to feel solidarity with govt...

Every such attack is horrible but attacks against sufis are especially so, givent hteir peculiar traditions, their emphasis on tolerance and diversity (speaking about south asian sufis like Chishtiyya)

At this point fighting isn't a solution. Only hope is to prevent the battle using pressure by a country vitally interested in this move... We know who

This is what entire battle would look like if it isn't prevented by some state actors... Fierce rebel defence, heroic counterattacks with stunning success ultimately broken by indiscriminate cowardly bombings.

Although i dont believe in big wars happening now, thats a good point. Only reason that could cause a real international war in ME now are regimes fearing whats inside their countries more than whats outside... Willing to run away into war from internal problems

Regime attacking . 3 milions of innocents in urgent need of salvation. HTS cannot save them, as they couldnt save Aleppo when war tides were more on rebel side. Cowardly faggots in western governments can't do it either. Only hope of those people is Turkey now

As China starts monitoring consumption of its propaganda feed, it will force parents to press children to spend more screen time to show their Communist Party bona fides.

There is a big group in twitter that always when *something* happens in north Syria is like "OMG Erdogan sold Idlib to assad for the 100th time" It consists of 3 parts: assadists, HTS jihadists & team "Erdogan eats journalists alive lets save Turks from themselves"

"By doing so, the revolutionary flag would once again wave over the area, preventing the possibility of the Assad regime reaching a deal with the YPG in order to control the oil-rich region. Locals would not feel occupied, which will help ensure the defeat of Daesh."
