photo_library Remembering some amazing experiences in Met Gala's past... In 2006 my dress was from a little known British designer #ErdemMoralioglu . I saw this crazy bird print dress in one of his first runway shows and fell in love thinking that’s my #MetGala dress! Swipe to the next year in 2007 and I thought to wear another young emerging British designer #ChristopherKane. It was a big deal because most people wore long dresses but Anna Wintour I think approved -:) What’s really great is that these 2 designers are in this year’s Met Exhibit "Camp: Notes on Fashion!" photo_library Happy New Yorkers were caught by surprise with a sunny day yesterday so many came out to see the last of the cherry blossoms at @brooklynbotanic gardens. Coming across a step with poet’s @waltwhitmen name on it and finding out he was a Brooklynite! How appropriate when he says "After you have exhausted what there is in business, politics, conviviality, and so on - have found that none of these finally satisfy, or permanently wear - what remains? Nature remains." He also said “Every moment of light and dark is a miracle.” He was a wise man!👊🏼🌲💚

I’m a fan because it’s free to go (you can walk to it via the @highlinenyc and then climb the vessel, take in river views and feel the wind, eat out and see culturing programming for a reasonable price! Not bad for a 13.4 mile urban island on the east coast! 🍎I ❤️NY!
