Conscripts aren't civilians. While one may consider the aforementioned "cheering" behaviour to be wrong in both cases, it simply cannot be the *same* level of wrong because killing either just don't have the same moral, legal, political implications.

that last tweet was probably poorly phrased, of course its legitimate to have valid political opinions. But you shouldn't be looking at the messy frontline of these political opinions as just flesh to eat lead, no matter what your political opinion is.

"sides". The only side you should be on is one of individual respect and rights if you think that can be desecrated for some bullshit partisan points, well you might be a dick. Of course this is different for chumps like Maher al-Asaad or Baghdadi who cause all that shit

This applies to all sides. dont cheer about poor conscripts who have been forcefed nothing but SANA propaganda for 8 years being killed. don't cheer about hundreds of civilians dying and hundreds of thousands being displaced because youre salty about Afrin Not 👏 too 👏 hard

I'm writing an essay on the utility (or lack) of the US' nuclear umbrella over the Korean Peninsular. I think it's safe to say that it could make John Bolton's head explode if he read it.

A record 47C heat dried up all ponds in a Myanmar park, home to rare golden dear and other wildlife species. But thanks to an online crowdfunding scheme, park officials managed to get the water for the animals. If this is not a sign of an ‘extinction’ era, I don’t know what is.
