They should have left the control of Idlib to Turkish-backed opposition. But they chose to isolate themselves into their narrow and radical worldview. Now, they will get what they deserve. We can't be expected to fight for them against Assad and Russia. It's madness.

Turkish-backed opposition is Muslim, too. Militants in Idlib don't have a monopoly on Islam. Many civilians would flee to Euphrates Shield territory and Turkey if they're not forced to be human shield. Turkey hosts the largest number of Syrian refugees (more than 3.5 million).

What human shields? Do you think they think twice while killing a civilian? Open your eyes and see how many civilians are killed every single day. They even bomb the hospitals so the wounded can't be treated, and you think those people could be used as human shields? Lol

I know how brutal they are. But the existence of civilians still poses a handicap. They would be much more ruthless without them. We can condemn civilian casualties, welcome fleeing civilians, and give humanitarian aid, but we can't directly fight for those militants.
