The presenter is astonished after Libya’s Haftar (backed by UAE, & Saudi) says he often released Tunisian ISIS fighters after his forces captured them. The presenter asks if he meant hand them over to Tunisian gov., but he still said no we just let them go

Turkey's investment into Idlib's power grid might be an indication of which areas they aim to hold: of HTS's Salvation Government received a $1mil contract in February to repair Idlib's grid and connect it to Turkey; map shows which lines have been repaired since then.

ADD.: the 'n strategy is well deployed as targeting only and Islamic group remnants areas for now. controlled parts of N- and S- are just targeted by airstrikes. Clearly, in fact, they're attacking the weaken side of the rebellion in the area.

NOTE : the defeat of Qalaat al Mudiq is more symbolical : town was held since 2012. It gave hundreds of men for , Islamic groups and jihadis forces and, after years, was the entrance between regime and rebellion held areas.

I remember puzzling over these cuts for ages trying to work out what had hit the car of Abu Khayr al-Masri, deputy leader of Al-Qaeda. Turns out it was a Hellfire missle with fucking swords attached to it.
