There is no way the community of Syria analysts will ever properly thank for all his incredible research and analysis over the past few years. I am just re-reading some of his work and I am jealous of and humbled by what he has unearthed and shared.

Just in: an IRC-supported health clinic in northern Hama was hit by an airstrike this morning. Thankfully there were no casualties. This the 13th health facility attacked in 10 days in northwest Syria. A reminder: targeting life-saving hospitals & health clinics breaks intl law.

  5. The only exception was Firqat al-Hamza firing 5 Grad rockets at Nubul & al-Zahraa toward empty (regime-held) areas. It took the commander 4 days to secure permission for this from the Turks. Many of the fighters in the group are displaced from southern Idlib/northern Hama.

  7. A short while ago, regime forces opened machine-gun fire on a Turkish patrol near Khan Sheikhoun, southern Idlib. 4 days ago regime shelling injured Turkish soldiers in Idlib. It does not appear that Turkey retaliated to either of these attacks.

My predictions: * There is not going to be a war between the US & Iran under Trump. * Tougher sanctions on Iran will not lead it to moderate its nuclear ballistic, domestic or regional policies. * The Israelis & Palestinians won't reach a peace deal under Trump.

Since 29 April, twelve health structures have been hit in North West Syria say the . This is not an accident - destroying the means to save lives is fundamental to the Assad/Putin extermination strategy in Idlib.

The moment a regime barrel bomb hit the medical center in the village of Hawija in the Ghab Plain, Hama, today. This is part of a systematic policy of Russia & Assad to destroy hospitals & kill rescuers in opposition-held areas

For 5 years, the Kremlin’s tried (successfully, in the case of all too many western supposed leftists) to gaslight us into believing Ukraine is a country of Jew-hating “Nazis”. Now Ukraine’s elected a Jewish president, the narrative has switched: Ukraine now likes Jews too much.

To be clear, the policy would punish Iraqi citizens not accused of any crime. Collectively punishing hundreds of thousands of innocent people is immoral, illegal & counter-productive.
